LIVING IN Worcester Park
Worcester Park was once part of the 1,100 acre Great Park, which Henry VIII favoured for deer hunting.
H.G. Wells lived for a time in Worcester Park and it gained a mention in his 1895 book The Argonauts of the Air, a short story about manned flight.
Today Worcester Park is part of south-west London’s suburban spread, with lovely parks, good schools, and a wide range of properties from flats, bungalows and semis to detached houses.
